New direction...fun bright colors! Yay!

I've decided to try something a little different, and do some landscapes with thicker paint application and a slightly different style.  I'm still going to keep my still life paintings with the circular layouts, I just love how they look, but I think the landscapes needed to be changed up a bit.  I've been trying to find a way to make fun, bright, landscapes and steer away from the traditional style and coloring, while at the same time not going too modern or abstract.
My goal is to create something that will brighten up the home, that just brings a lightness to life, that I would hang on my own walls and I think that's what I got...I'm very happy with this new direction.   I never really understood the need for dark, traditional artwork...its just not my thing...I hope you like this!
There will be plenty more to come! :)
