![]() This is the start of the painting where everything has been drawn out on the canvas using pencil, and I'm starting to add some very thin paint washes... ![]() more thinned out paint... ![]() same.. ![]() so finally the whole painting has been coated in one thin wash of paint and is ready for more coats... ![]() ![]() ![]() The finished painting with a minimum of 3 layers of paint in some areas and as much as 4-5 layers in others. Each layer has to dry completely before being covered by another coat which makes the process a bit time consuming, but since the paint is thinned out so much it doesn't take too terribly long. This was a great project to work on and I'm extremely happy with the results...hopefully it will bring some kind of joy to the children stuck in a hospital.
